Chocolate and Dental Health

Are you a chocolate lover? How do you eat chocolate responsibly?
Despite its other advantages, chocolate is still full of sugar, so be sure to enjoy carefully.
- If you crave chocolate, choose dark chocolate, which is low in sugar. Do not forget to brush your teeth immediately afterwards, or at least rinse with water.
- Stay away from chocolate that contains caramel or biscuits. These can stick to your teeth, increasing the possibility of cavities. Avoid chocolate-flavored cereal and cookies, too their high starch content means a feast for decay-causing bacteria.
